Her debut single, Here in 2015 at the age of aged 19. The song was widely acclaimed by both critics and listeners. The Canadian Hot 100, and Billboard Hot 100, ranked the single at 19. Even Rolling Stone ranked the song among the 2015's Top Songs. At the same time when she debuted Know It All. Scars to Your Beautiful One of her five original tracks that was featured on the Billboard Charts including Billboard Hot 100 from Canada and Billboard 200 for the Canadian Albums Charts. This track was special because, based on her interview with Rap-Up that she conducted, many of her listeners were able to relate to her experience in learning to love themselves and rethinking their beliefs about her. Cara includes messages of love and kindness throughout her songs. The inspiration for her music is derived from her own struggle to conquer mental health issues as well as insomnia. In an Reuters interview she describes her album as half tumultuous and half complete. Her growth was aided by therapy. She advises other people when they need to reach out for help. Alessia Cara grew up in Toronto, Canada. She was born on July 11, 1996, to parents of Italian origins. Alessia Cara's parents bought her an instrument at the age of 10. That was her first step in music. She began covering her favorite songs when she was 13, to prove to everyone that she had the skills and the courage necessary to be an artist. Sweater Weather became her most well-known cover. The record label EP Entertainment EP Entertainment, noticed her and let her compose songs.
